Book: Changing to Thrive
Updated: Apr 27
The start of the new year often prompts people to consider resolutions, intentions, goals, and plans. For some, they don't have any desire to establish a resolution to do this or don't do that. Others are excited about the possibilities that may emerge from outlined goals.
Even if you're not into resolutions, it may still interest you to know just how the process of change really occurs. Basically, according to the Prochaskas, everything starts with the readiness to change.
I've just started this book, but what interests me so far is that it contains exercises to help someone move through the stages of change into a new way of being. And once you complete each stage, "you have the power to thrive."
Sounds a little like yoga, doesn't it?
